Medical device manufacturer, Network Medical Products Ltd, has issued a medical device safety alert concerning its Donor Trephine Vacuum Punch 7.50mm [Brand Name: Coronet, Catalogue Number: 51-835-7.50, Batch Number: 20190021].
According to the manufacturer, there was size labelling error on the primary (blister) pack of the affected product. The blister pack label incorrectly stated the device size as 7.00mm. The device engraved size and the outer carton (box) label both stated the correct size of 7.50mm.
Product recall is on-going.
