Medical device manufacturer, Smiths Medical, has issued a medical device safety alert concerning its ACE MDI Spacer with Small Mask [Model Number: 11-1122; Lot Number: 3809856] and Palm Cups (Large) [Model Number: 55-4090; Lot Number: 3768545].
The manufacturer noted via complaints that the abovementioned products may have packaged in shipping boxes with incorrect labels. It is stated that the labels on those products are correct. However, wrong products may have sent if incorrect label was affixed to the shipping box.
The manufacturer is advising users who are in possession of the above products to inspect if the correct products are received and also follow the instructions as mentioned in the alert notice accordingly.
According to the manufacturer, the affected products are distributed in Hong Kong.
