The Government has commissioned the ECRI Institute (with the Hong Kong Productivity Council as the local subcontractor) to conduct a study on the control of use of selected medical devices in Hong Kong. The study is intended to delineate the risks of use of medical devices for cosmetic purposes and to derive recommendations on the best regulatory approach for Hong Kong.
