The Department of Health’s Medical Device Division (MDD) was successfully awarded the ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification in December 2025. This certification affirms that the processes of the Medical Device Administrative Control System (MDACS) for quality control, risk management, and continuous improvement meet internationally recognised standards of excellence, encompassing both pre-market and post-market stages. It underscores the Department’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding public health.
